The Hansen Library was started in 1975 by Bryan and Frances Harris, who shared one room of their home for the library’s beginnings. The library’s needs soon began to grow, and Mrs. Harris was more than willing to share one more room, then another. Today the library fills the entire building with an expansion completed, a lasting tribute to our mentors’ generosity and belief in education.
Following in their footsteps, Nora M. Anderson generously gave a bequest to the library in her Will, enabling the library to expand and make improvements and repairs.
To become acquainted with the library’s policies, please check with one of the staff during library hours.
