Hotspots are Here

We now have three mobile hotspots for loan.  Patrons must be in good standing at the library and complete a use agreement. Hotspots are available for one week, which can be renewed if there is not a waiting list.

Funds for this project were provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the America Rescue Plan Act and were administered by the Idaho Commission for Libraries ARPA Learn/Earn Grant.

A new outdoor access point was added to the south side of the Library to provide coverage throughout the Hansen Community Center. As part of this grant, the Hansen Community Library partnered with the Kimberly-Hansen Police Department to lead discussions about vaping and alcohol usage at the Hansen High School in September. Students in the 8th grade health class created anti-vaping posters that were displayed at the High School, Community Library and Hansen City Hall during Red Ribbon Week.
